In addition to open discussions with experts, participants will also have the opportunity to participate in the solemn Holy Mass, the inaugural lecture and the gala during which the Bonum et Lucrum (Good and Profit) award will be presented along with the award for the best publication in the field of CST. Practical workshops are also planned, based on the knowledge referred to during the debates. The agenda of the Festival of Catholic Social Teaching will cover crucial topics concerning social issues that are relevant for our society or will shape the socio-economic relations in the near future. The agenda focuses on two main topics of the debates. The first one is entitled “Strong or fragile – what is the European Union like?”. The speakers will first of all talk about fidelity to the values of the community in the context of social and economic changes. Debates will look for answers to questions such as what values is the EU guided by today? What is the contemporary strategy of the common good? How to minimize the impact of war? Why have we forgotten about solidarity and integrity?

There will be no shortage of space to look for opportunities and challenges that the Polish economy faces. During the second debate entitled “Economy – development or collapse?” we will analyze, in particular, the current trend of tax changes and solutions aimed at overcoming the effects of inflation and the COVID-19 pandemic directly affecting taxpayers and entrepreneurs.

The honorary patronage was granted by: Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio Apostolic Nuncio to Poland, Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki Chairman of the Polish Episcopal Conference and Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz, the Archbishop of Warsaw. The list of announced guests confirms that the Festival of Catholic Social Teaching – Theory into practice, constitutes is one of the most important social projects in Poland.
